We foster community among students and families.
Family Schools Program (FSP)
The Family Schools Program is a board run, pastor led ministry of Covenant Life Church that provides support and oversight to home schooling families who are members of a local church. FSP is designed to:
- Provide the opportunity to homeschool under the legal requirements of Maryland (COMAR 13A.10.01.05)
- Support and encourage parents as educators
- Foster community among homeschool families
- Offer tutorials and supplemental activities for students
- Motivate with accountability
- Facilitate entrance into higher education.
FSP provides a reviewer for each family. Our team of veteran home school educators provide an annual review and personal support for each family in the program. View the list of our Program Reviewers.
From 2011 - 2015, each year FSP graduates have been awarded a combined average of over 1 million dollars in college scholarships! Our graduates have been admitted to local state and private colleges, as well as to competitive out of state universities. Five of our graduating seniors received awards as part of the National Merit Scholarship Program.
FSP Parent Advisory Board
Under the direction of its Administrator, FSP has a Parent Advisory Board of homeschooling parents who provide input for ideas, vision and direction for FSP and represent the three segments that FSP seeks to serve: elementary, middle school, and high school students.
